Celebrating Innovation at the Wide Format Summit, Miami
We’re still buzzing from this year’s Wide Format Summit in vibrant Miami, FL. Presented by PRINTING United Alliance, NAPCO Media and Wide-Format Impressions. From market trends to deep dives on automation, the event brought together the best in wide-format print – and underscored one theme: smarter workflows with automation and AI deliver real results.
The summit opened with “Wide‑Format Automation in Focus.” presented by Lisa Cross, Principal Analyst at Napco Research. Drawing on three major studies, she revealed that while 84% of wide‑format printers see automation as essential for competitiveness, fewer than half have made significant progress. Automation already boosts productivity (75%), meets customer demand (71%), and improves staff satisfaction (56%), yet workflow complexity and integration gaps remain the biggest hurdles. Her insights set the stage for our nominated case study.
About the nominated case study
We were honored to be nominated for Best Case Study Presentation in the Flatbed Graphics category – a moment of recognition that means a great deal to our team and partners. In the presentation, Marc Raad, President of Significans Automation, shared how automation can transform even the smallest teams.
Our featured case study told the story of Work House Signs, a small yet powerful signage operation based in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Despite having just 8 employees, Work House Signs manages over 1 million active product designs across Amazon, Walmart, Etsy , eBay, and their own direct-to-consumer site. Their growth was explosive – but it created a bottleneck: hundreds of hours per week lost to manual file intake and prep.
That’s where Significans Automation came in.
